How far I am in the series: The anime (mostly out of order), though not every episode, somewhere in the Pokemon Special manga, I've played a bunch of the Pokemon games since the near beginning.
What got me into this series: The games. I started with Blue and went from there. Then the anime came on TV and I watched it whenever I could catch it. I haven't watched it since Advanced Generation though.
