I'm a little torn about this fic! It's not bad, but I had some hesitations. I'm of the opinion that if you can't talk about sex, you shouldn't be having it...but Ritsuka did manage to articulate himself in places, initiate things, and the nervousness was normal for the situation... Still, otherwise he read a lot as the youth he is in the manga even though the author's note says it takes place 'some years later'. I really liked Soubi though, and Ritsuka on top is always interesting! Previous: when i'm ready (Soubi/Ritsuka) (NC-17)

I love the power in these words - in turns thoughtful, sad, sweet and funny! Just beautiful. I completely agree with Soubi that it's sad to think of Ritsuka without ears and a tail - he expresses so much with them. I love that Kio gave Ritsuka books on sex, especially the one Ritsuka was reading. I can so see that scene in my head! *laughs* The end was gorgeous and perfect in it's imperfection. Ritsuka, meanwhile, believes that he just might explode due to all the sexual frustration.
Oh, lovely! I could just feel Ritsuka's impatience the whole time. XD I think Soubi was right to make him wait, and I love the way it did finally happen, I think that's how a lot of things happen in real life and I'd want it to go like that for myself! I do think there was something a bit too eloquent about Soubi and Ritsuka's speech though. Maybe I'm just so used to reading their speech in manga form where it's short and tends to hesitate a lot. Wow, this fic packs a punch! I loved it. Okay, so in the manga Ritsuka tells Soubi he'd never be able to do for Soubi what Seimei did...but that's based on his experience of abuse. There's a huge difference between pain for cruelty/insanity and pain for pleasure. I loved Soubi's reactions in this. (Ritsuka x Soubi) (PG-13, sadomasochism)

In my opinion, the definitive Soubi x Ritsuka fic. It takes place five years after the anime and the title is pretty much a giveaway of what it's about - but there's so much more to it! It's everything you'd want to see happen in their relationship. One of my favorite moments is Soubi letting Ritsuka explore his body, because knowing that you trust someone and feeling that you trust someone are different things. Also liked: Katsuko, the mentions of Ritsuka's mom, the characterizations of everyone, that the first try wasn't easy, the love between Ritsuka and Soubi, and...how I could totally go on with this list for a while. (Soubi x Ritsuka, background Youji x Natsuo and implied Yayoi x Yuiko) (NC-17)
(Votes: 1) - Words by White Aster [Excerpt] - Ritsuka wasn't sure what it all meant. Maybe it was a bit spiteful, trying to show Soubi that Ritsuka didn't need Soubi's words to tell him how to act. Maybe it was "I love you", or "I'll take care of you" or "Rest now, I've got you." Ritsuka thought in his heart of hearts, though, that that wasn't it at all. (Ritsuka x Soubi ) (NC-17)
