At first I had no idea what Starz "Camelot" was, but that's why Google is your friend. It only got better after that! I haven't read a lot of meta fic, but now I'm certainly more open to it after I read this. I loved all the references to fandom even when I didn't understand them all! I have to say I do prefer it when it's half online half off, so we can actually see the relationship develop 'in person' too. The author did a great job working that out. Fics like this are what brings me back into Merlin every time! (Also, I can't wait to listen to the podfic version!) (Arthur/Merlin) (PG-13+)

I've never read a fic with enemas, and I never thought I'd actually find it hot. And OMG, in the Merlin fandom? Nice. I love the characterization in this fic, spot on! Arthur being so determined not to be embarrassed. xD I seriously adore the bantering Arthur and Merlin had going on in this. Part of the reason this was so hot is because the reader knows what's up with Merlin during the scene, but Arthur doesn't until, well. ;) And then things get even more interesting and...*fans self* I think this is also my first time reading bottom!Arthur. It's done so well because Arthur is still totally himself, he doesn't change just because of the change in dynamics. Highly, highly recommended to anyone who likes kink (unless enemas are a squick to you). (Merlin/Arthur) (NC-17, enema)

I love how detailed this is, but certainly not overly burdened with them (if it was, I'd find it hard to get through because I don't know that much about Russia). It's really interesting read Arthur and Merlin in these completely AU roles. Their character shines through at just the right times to remind me that it really is them. I also really like Gwen's role in this - can't wait for Morgana to show up. Oh, and Uther! He's totally cool here. The bantering in this is especially funny because it's just like in Merlin and Anastasia. So yeah, I definitely can't wait to see what happens next! Specifically, what Nimueh has planned next. (Arthur/Merlin, future Gwen/Morgana) (PG-13)

Oh, I love this! I liked reading Arthur's POV, and I totally think he would think that way about the situation. I totally love one commenter's idea though - that Merlin is just waiting for Arthur to 'take advantage'. Hey, why doesn't Merlin make a move, first? I've never seen Amelie, but I rather enjoyed this fic that was based off of it. Enough that I wouldn't have minded at all if it was multi-chaptered! I loved Merlin's aversion tactics and definitely The Dragon - the author did such a great job of adapting him into a modern figure! Also liked Hunith, Gaius, Gwen and Igraine's minor roles in the story. The ending was sweet! ♥ (Arthur/Merlin) (PG)

Even with Morgana's help, winning Merlin back doesn't turn out to be as easy as Arthur had hoped.
Such a cliche idea, but you know, I never tire of them when they're done like this! It's executed so well here, I absolutely love Morgana and Gwen's involvement in this. *grin* I love the characterizations, but just like Arthur, I miss he and Merlin's sniping. I can't wait until more is posted, because seriously, those two need to get their heads screwed on straight (er, 'scuse the pun) and see what's right in front of them. XP I also hope something can be done for Gawain, poor fellow. (Arthur/Merlin, OMC/Merlin) (PG-13)

I like how everyone's involved (Morgana an Gwen, and even Uther even though he's away). I also like how the end completes an earlier thought of Arthur's. I liked that for once Arthur was taking care of Merlin! And definitely the implied Morgana/Gwen. Ooh, and the punishment. XD There are some grammar issues (lack of commas mostly). Very well executed idea! Also, catchy title. I love that the author didn't take the easy way out (for the relationship), such as Arthur remembering it all. I really enjoyed the...plot of this and loved the humor (ROFL, scarf twirling). Overall a great fic. (Arthur/Merlin) (NC-17)

I love everything about this fic! Merlin and Arthur are so awesome and in character here. I cracked up a lot throughout this - it's got such a great idea! I honestly adored Merlin and Arthur's interactions in this, I could totally have read on forever. I think this one's going in my Top Five list of favorites for this fandom. I hope my italics convinced you to read this. XD (Arthur/Merlin) (PG-13) - from the Poker to the Prize by lo0o0ony-lauren [Excerpt] - Arthur faces an impressive challenger in the inter-village tournament and Merlin has a bit of an odd day.
I really don't want to spoil the plot, but I'm so excited! I love when this type of thing happens in fic. Done so brilliantly here, I love the characterization and whole idea. I want to reread it already! One thing that was occasionally irritating was grammar issues. Could have used a read through by the author or a beta to fix them. (implied future Arthur/Merlin) (PG) - New Light by kageygirl [Excerpt] - In which confronting a monster in the forest may not be the riskiest venture of the day.
It's amazing what the author's done here! She took 'write them kissing' from her friend and made it somehow even more beautiful. The idea for the context is very interesting and engaging. I really love Arthur's 'voice' in this. I'm definitely seeing if this author has written anything else I might like! (Arthur/Merlin) (PG)
